The Bachelor’s degree in 社会工作 (B.S.W.) prepares 学生 for careers in social work by providing them with the skills, 知识, 值, and cognitive and affective processes that are essential in generalist social work practice, in accordance with the competencies published by the Council on 社会工作 Education (CSWE) in 2015. Students focus on working with individuals, families, 组, and community organizations. Brescia offers the social work major in both on-ground and online formats. 成功的B.S.W. social work graduates may attend graduate school in social work with advanced standing, take the B.S.W. state licensure exam, and qualify for liability insurance through NASW as a B.S.W. 实习的学生.

Human Services (Associate Degree)
The Human Services associate degree prepares 学生 for entry-level positions in a variety of human service agencies. Students will acquire skills needed to work with individuals, 组, and communities and learn to work with people of diverse racial, 少数民族, 文化背景. Major subject requirements are in the fields of sociology, psychology, biology, and social work.
